Early in the morning I hiked into this view spot to draw. Magic happens in the early morning. Finches drinking water from rapidly disappearing pools and taking advantage of the relative cool. Lizards warming up for the day. Coyote tracks cross the wash feet from where this drawing was made. I had hopes...

A magical place - Arches National Park.

Nice sky, heh. Clearly, the sky doesn't look this way, but it FEELS this way. The energy is humbling, overwhelming, and magnificent. It's why we keep going back.

My wife, Suzanne attracted lizards everyday on our hikes. And spotted them, of course. Daughter, Sasha, dubbed Suzanne - the Lizard Queen.

Early in the mornings, we would find these fellows greeting us and the day atop the cairns. They made our days.
